The students of Faculty of Medical Sciences won the 1st place of the inter-faculty quiz jointly organised by the Sri Lanka College of Microbiologists and the WHO with the participation of all 11 medical faculties to celebrate World Antimicrobial Awareness Week (WAAW). Dr. Thushari Dissanayake, Consultant Microbiologist and Senior Lecturer gave the guidance for the Faculty of Medical Sciences team. The student team representing the Faculty of Medical Sciences included Miss. Hasithi Galhena, Mr. Dinul Doluweera and Mr. Samuditha Munasinghe (reserve) from the 27th batch with Miss. Mahima Suresh and Mr. Gayan Ranawaka from the 28th batch.
