The annual blood donation campaign, a cornerstone event at our university, serves dual purposes: addressing critical national blood supply needs and providing invaluable educational opportunities for our students. This year’s campaign organized by second year students of Faculty of Medical Sciences and Faculty of Dental Sciences could collect 70 pints of blood from 87 registered members.
This campaign goes beyond the university premises, actively engaging local villagers and fostering community connections. By encouraging their participation, we not only strengthen ties with the community but also emphasize the importance of collective action in saving lives.
Through this initiative, students apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, gaining invaluable experience and understanding. The campaign exemplifies our commitment to societal welfare and educational excellence, highlighting the significant impact that collective efforts can have on addressing crucial healthcare needs.
