The J’pura Employability Skills Awards (JESA) is the most prestigious event in the university calendar, organised by the Carrier Guidance Unit of the University to award exceptional students for their academic and extra-curricular achievements. This year’s award ceremony was held on the 27th of September 2022.
The award; “Best Employability Skills Achiever- Faculty of Medical Sciences” goes out to the best All-rounder of the faculty! This award was won by Mr. Bhanu Wijethilake (26th batch) with Ms. Amalka Chandraratne (27th batch) emerging as 1st runner-up and Mr. Varuna Abeyratne (26th batch) as 2nd runner-up.
Of the other award categories competed for amongst all faculties, Ms. Hasarah Dasanayake (28th batch) triumphed Winner of the “Best Leader” award with Mr. Varuna Abeyratne (26th batch) emerging as the 1st runner-up. While Ms. Senara Vidanapathirana (29th batch) emerged as the winner of the “Best Communicator” award with Ms. Hasarah Dasanayake (28th batch) as the Second Runner-up.
The Faculty of Medical Sciences congratulates the winners for their outstanding achievements and wish them the best in their future endeavors.
