Medtalks.lk offers a variety of medical and health-related information through articles aimed at the general public. Users can gain insights from these health articles and find answers to their health inquiries. The accuracy of the information published on the website is reviewed by a panel of advisors, including faculty lecturers and doctors appointed to clinical teaching positions. In addition to the website, Medtalks has over 70,000 subscribers across its social media channels.
For 15 years, the BestWeb.LK competition has been a leading platform for showcasing web design excellence in Sri Lanka, assessing .lk domain websites on creativity and technical achievements. The Health & Wellness awarding category includes all .lk domain websites related to hospitals, clinics, health services, and similar entities. Medtalks.lk’s recognition is especially significant as it marks the first time a team of medical undergraduates has earned this accolade.
