Essential Anastomosis Skills for Surgical Trainees Course – EASST Course

EASST Workshop is a practical hands-on intensive 2-day course conducted by the Department of Surgery annually. The course is designed for surgical trainees wishing to learn safe and reliable anastomotic techniques in bowel, vascular and urological surgery.
This course was conducted successfully on the 19th and 20th of February 2026 at the Skills lab, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
