52nd CONVOCATION
Notice to MBBS, Human Biology and B.Pharm Graduands
52nd Convocation of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura will be held on 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th October 2026 at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall for the conferment of degrees. The session for Faculty of Medical Sciences will be held on Thursday, 15th October 2026.
Eligible graduands of the Faculty of Medical Sciences are required to submit the completed convocation supplication forms.

Convocation Fee
First Degree Rs. 6,500.00
First Degree (in absentia) Rs. 6,500.00
Dully filled supplication forms along with the scanned copies of the following documents (must be clear scanned documents in PDF format (not images, photos taken from cameras, mobile phones or shaded/darked documents scanned by mobile phones.) should be sent on or before 10th July 2026 via con.fms@sjp.ac.lk
- Dully filled supplication form and the declaration (A4 size)
(The declaration must be printed on the reverse side of the supplication form) - The bank receipt for the payment of the convocation fee (yellow copy for the bank payment/generated payment slip for online payment)
Subject of the e-mail should be as follows:
Index number, Registration no, Name of the Degree
Ex : MEDxxxx, ME xxxx, MBBS Degree
You should make sure to send the above documents via your personal e-mail. If you have any inquiry, please contact Dean`s office, Faculty of Medical Sciences (contact numbers: 0112881788 Extension 4012/4014)
All originals of the above e-mailed documents together with a self-addressed (23 cm x 10 cm) Rs. 70/= stamped envelope stating the index number, registration number and the name of the degree on top left-hand corner (as mentioned in no. 03 of the Convocation supplication form) should be sent by registered post to the following address to reach on or before 16.07.2026 or handover directly to the Dean`s office, Faculty of Medical Sciences.

Additional information
In the original degree certificate, your name in Sinhala will be appeared as on your birth certificate, and in English it will be appeared as in the final results sheet.
The changes done by you in the name in Sinhala or English in the Supplication Form will not be accepted and do not change your name.
Cloaks will be issued by the Faculty of Medical Sciences on a week prior to the Convocation. You should handover your Student Identity Card to the Faculty Office on that date and ensure to return your Library Books before that date.
