26th phase of the Diriya Aruna social project which is done annually under the guidance of Medical Faculty Students’ Union of University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
In 2024, under the 26th phase repairing of the music room and the science laboratory of WP/Mathugama/Palanda Maha Vidyalaya was done.
This renovated music room, common room and Science laboratory was handed over to students on 19th October 2024 with the participation of Prof. Manori Gamage, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Senior Prof. Surangi Yasawardene, Dean of the Dental Faculty, Prof. Rasika Perera, Dr. Chandana Hewage, senior treasurer of the Medical Faculty Students’ Union and other lecturers of the Medical Faculty.
The 26th phase of Diriya Aruna was coordinated and done by the students of the 32nd batch of Faculty of Medical Sciences together with the 2nd batch of Dental Faculty.
