GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS

THINGS TO REMEMBER

  1. Please use the slide templates to make your PowerPoint presentations - A PPT template has been shared with you. You are required to use the given standard template for all the presentations. Other templates will not be allowed.
     
  2. The duration of each presentation session is 10 minutes. You will have 08 minutes to present, followed by 2 minutes for a Q & A session with the audience.
     
  3. Please use the ARIAL FONT for your PPT, and DO NOT place text/image/information over the logos. Under the LAYOUT tab/NEW SLIDE tab, options are available to choose different slides for the PPT template. Please find below a picture for your reference;
     

  1. Please only use those pictures (photos of the project, patients, staff etc.) where you have obtained informed consent from the subjects to show their images at a conference and online worldwide. In case you use open-source images, please mention the source.
     
  2. Less is more - limit the amount of information on each slide (e.g., max 20 words, maximum 6 bullet points)
     
  3. All pictures, maps, images must be appropriately credited.
     
  4. SPELL ALL ACRONYMS and avoid jargon.
