RESEARCH GRANTS


  1. "Identification of aerobic and anaerobic organisms and their antibiotic sensitivity pattern among the patients with acute dentoalveolar abscesses at selected dental clinics units". (Grant No. ASP/06/RE/MED/2013/33) for the research on The study has been completed and now on the process of writing the final report.
  2. Health ministry grant (Project No. 41/2014) for the research on "Proportion and of legionella pneumonia and associated risk factors for in a tertiary care hospital in Sri Lanka". The study is in progress now.
  3. University Research Grant No. ASP/01/RE/MED/2017/64 of Rs. 2,050,000.00 for "Detection of Group B Streptococci (GBS) carriage in pregnant women by real time PCR assay, antibiotic sensitivity pattern and prevalent serotypes in Western Province in Sri Lanka".
