Areas investigated
- Pathological mechanisms that occur at the neuromuscular junction following OP exposure.
- Develop neurophysiological parameters to predict the development of IMS.
- Develop a toxicokinetic and toxicodynamic model to predict IMS in OP poisoning.
- Develop clinical predictors for IMS/ late respiratory failure.
- Develop a pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic model to predict IMS with RBC acetylcholinesterase levels.
- Electrophysiological Monitoring of the Effects of Pralidoxime in Organophosphate poisoning
- Neuromuscular function in OP poisoning.
- Effects of Pralidoxime on neuromuscular transmission failure.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
