LEAD COLLABORATIVE SCIENTIST FROM SRI LANKA

FOR MOLECULAR PATHOLOGICALSTRATIFICATION OF LEISHMANIASIS


 

Dr. Shalindra Ranasinghe, Head, Department of Parasitology was selected as the Lead Collaborative Scientist from Sri Lanka for the Medical Research Council UK funded research project titled "Towards a global research network for the molecular pathological stratification of leishmaniasis".

The principal investigator is Prof. Paul Kaye, Professor of Immunology, Centre for Immunology and Infection, Hull Medical School, University of York.

This research project has been selected as one of the five case reports published by the MRC press release.
