COMMENCEMENT LECTURE

FOR ENTRANTS TO THE MBBS DEGREE PROGRAMME - 2016

 


The 26th batch of undergraduates entered the MBBS degree programme of the Faculty of Medical Sciences with a welcoming ceremony held on 31st October, 2016 at the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The Commencement Lecture, marking the beginning of academic activities for the new entrants to the MBBS Degree Programme, was delivered by Prof. Jayantha Jayawardena, Emeritus Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and former Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The lecture was held on 15th November, 2016 and was forwarded on the expectations and the challenges of the medical profession.
