Pirith Chanting Ceremony - 2022

A Pirith Chanting Ceremony and almsgiving are organized annually by the Buddhist Society, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The main purpose of the event is to invoke blessings on the generous cadaver donors and their families for selflessly contributing to improving the knowledge of the students. This year, the ceremony was organized by the 26^th and 30^th batches. On 4^th February, an overnight pirith chanting ceremony, and the morning alms giving marked the conclusion of the ceremony on 5^th February 2022.
