Winner of the 3Rs360 Challenge
Anuki Alahakoon, an undergraduate of Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura has successfully won the 3Rs360 challenge conducted by Youth Govern of Sri Lanka (YGSL). This challenge mainly focused on the prevailing concerns & significant repercussions of unsustainable waste management methods in Sri Lanka. She was able to document a comprehensive review on one of the major unresolved issues - Meethotamulla solid waste dump disaster, through which she brought about the crucial impact on the environment & hindrance to normal lifestyle.
