Buddhist Society Donates Stethoscopes and Knee Hammers to Needy Students

The Buddhist Society of Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura organized the stethoscope scholarship for the students of the 27^th batch, who were about to commence their clinical rotations. The event was held on the 26^th of March 2021 at the faculty premises with the participation of Senior Professor Aloka Pathirana, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, Professor Hasini Banneheka, former senior treasurer of the Buddhist society, and Dr. Sajith Edirisinghe, Lecturer, Department of Anatomy.

The selections were made by an interview. The Buddhist society thanked the donors who were, staff members, consultants from Colombo South Teaching Hospital, Alumni of the Faculty of Medical Sciences, along with current students and their parents of the 24^th to the 29^th batches.

The Buddhist society kindly invites all the well-wishers for their generous contributions to future events.
