AVURUDU POLA
The 'Avurudu Pola' which is an annual fund raising event organized by the Faculty of Medical Teachers' Association, University of Sri Jayewardenepura was held on 26th March 2015 at the Faculty premises, with the participation of Prof. Surangi Yasawardene, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences. The event was well attended by students, academic & non-academic staff members and administrative staff. A wide range of stalls with food items, beverages, clothes, stationary etc. were available.
The FMTA committee has decided to utilize the funds raised through this event, for a community service project.
