Dr. Bimalka Seneviratne was ceremonialy inducted as the President of the College of Pathologists of Sri Lanka for the year 2017/2018.

Dr. Bimalka Seneviratne is a Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pathology and the present Head of the Department of Allied Health Sciences at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
