Dean's List

Who can apply

Students registered to follow the MBBS programme at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, on completion of

  • 1st Examination for MBBS - 28th Batch
  • 2nd Examination for MBBS - 25th Batch
  • Final Examination for MBBS - 24th Batch

And

  • Completed all the academic requirements of the considered academic period.
  • Obtained second class upper division or first class for the relevant examination are eligible to apply.

Benefit to the Student

  • Dean's award placement will be noted in the academic transcript.
  • A certificate signed by the Vice-Chancellor and the Dean will be awarded to the student at a special function in the Faculty/ Faculty Board.
  • Student will be given an opportunity to serve as a student ambassador who will extend their support to quality assurance of the Faculty and represent the University in national events when requested by the Vice-Chancellor.

Most Improved Student

Who can apply

Students registered to follow the MBBS programme at the Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, on completion of

  • 2nd Examination for MBBS - 25th Batch
  • Final Examination for MBBS - 24th Batch

And

demonstrated an improvement in the overall academic performance between two consecutive main examinations.
